Broersma is a finalist in the visual art category for the Barbara Deming Memorial Fund Artist Grant.
Virginia Broersma, Nick Brown and Kio Griffith selected for the second annual Emerging Curators Program at LACE (Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions). Their curatorial project The Ecstasy of Mary Shelley will open in January 2017 and will be funded in part by the Andy Warhol Foundation. More here.
